The picture shown here is a result of high humidity in a basement closed up for a long period of time.  The basement was unused by the home owner and the mold was growing in prime conditions of dark, semi cool, damp conditions.  Make sure you are properly running a dehumidifier as this is completely avoidable.  Fortunately we were able to send our Mold Specialist to the home and remediate the mold problem promptly and effectively without further damage to the homes structure.

The Marketing Team and Franchise Owner volunteered their time at the Benjamins House, a homeless shelter in Rice Lake, WI by cooking a large dinner for the residents.  The Benjamins House offers a 90 day program to its residents who have fallen to some down times to get them back on their feet.

We had a fun evening of showing appreciation to our awesome Insurance Agents that support us at our SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties Christmas gathering.  We made signs and Betty our Marketing Rep was there to help out in any way she can!

This is a customers office that was attached to apartment buildings in which there was a large explosion and fire overtook the apartments and started spreading into the office.  The office was able to be saved with extensive water damage, soot and smoke, and cleanup from the efforts of putting out the fire.  Our crew was able to restore the office building.  The customer was very satisfied with the work and says "it looks very nice" thanks to the work provided by SERVPRO of Barron, Dunn, and Rusk Counties.

This is the evidence that extensive water damage is inside the home.  There was significant damage from a frozen pipe and not knowing how long the water was in the home.  So we worked a couple weeks drying out the structure and now we will begin the repairs for the customer. 

Our new van to allow us to better service our customers.  Chris and Jon were excited to leave convention in our New SERVPRO van.  We did have plane tickets but we decided to drive our new vehicle home!  Good choice Chris and Jon!  SERVPRO looks great!
